(50 points each, 200 points total)
The political issues
worksheet, social issues worksheet, and economic issues worksheet ask a total of
36 questions each. Questions 1 and 2 in both the regional questions set and the
final questions set are worth 1 point each. Question 3, which requires a
detailed answer, is worth 2 points each. The final 2 points will be given for
neatness and clarity. Each answer should contain the following components:
Each question in the set must have an answer that is reasonable and
realistic.
Each answer must be historically correct or accurate in a modern sense.
Each expanded answer (#3.) must be thorough and well constructed.
The Past, Present, and
Future Worksheet ask a total of 5 Questions. Each answer is worth 10 points.
Each answer should contain the following components:

The remaining questions, #2 thru #5, must be reasonable and realistic.

PowerPoint Presentation
(250 points total)
Each presentation should contain the following components:
An introductory slide. (Minimum 1 slide, maximum 2 slides)

A summary of the political, economic, and social issues from each region of
the world from your answers given on your political, economic, and social
worksheets. (You will develop a slide for each region of the world with the
political, economic, and social issues summarized together on one slide. An
example would be a slide titled “Latin America” with three bullets, one for
political issues today, one for economic issues today, and one for social
issues today.) (Minimum 9 slides, maximum 14 slides)

A
summary of what you considered to be the most important political issues and
how, or if, they could evolve over the next 25 to 26 years. (Minimum 1 slide,
maximum 2 slides) (10 points)
A
summary of what you considered to be the most important economic issues and
how, or if, they could evolve over the next 25 to 26 years. (Minimum 1 slide,
maximum 2 slides) (10 points)
A summary of what you considered to be the most important social issues and
how, or if, they could evolve over the next 25 to 26 years. (Minimum 1 slide,
maximum 2 slides) (10 points)
A
summary of each of your five answers from the Past, Present, and Future
Worksheet. (Minimum 5 slides, maximum 8 slides)

A conclusion slide. (Minimum 1 slide, maximum 2 slides)

Each slide must present the required components listed above.
Each slide summary must be reasonable and realistic.
Each slide must be historically correct, accurate in a modern sense, or
reasonable in a future sense.
Each slide must be thorough and well constructed.
The remaining
60 points will be awarded as follows:
The slide contains a color background. (10
points)
The overall presentation contains at least 10 images.(10
points) (1 point will be deducted for each image
under 10)
The presentation is visually appealing and any quoted information is
properly cited. Please note, if any information is quoted, a works cited
slide must be added to your presentation. (10 points)
The final 30 points are given for the presention of the groups
PowerPoint Project to the class.(30 points)

The remaining 50 points will be awarded as follows:
The overall quality of the groups research. (25 points)
On task activities. (25 points)
Workload
(Deduction of 5 to 500 points)
Each group member must stay on task throughout the assignment. Deductions
may be given for off task behavior.
Each group member must contribute to the group effort equally. Deductions
will be given for any group member that does not contribute to the processes on
an equal basis.
