I have enjoyed every visit I have taken to Belgium. Though I have found it to be an expensive country to travel to, I have also found a lot to see. Belgium is a very beautiful country and a very friendly place to visit. My first trip to Belgium was in 1991. I have made two subsequent trips in 1998 and 2002.

Belgium became independent from the Netherlands in 1830 and was occupied by Germany during World Wars I and II. It has prospered in the past half century as a modern, technologically advanced European state and member of NATO and the EU. |   |
